The Gospel of Jesus Christ

The word "Gospel" in the greek is 'εὐαγγέλιον' (euaggelion) which means 'Good News / Glorious'. So the Gospel is the Good News of Jesus Christ. This news is Good, it brings hope, joy, peace-- hope that rises like light breaking through the darkest dawn, joy that floods the heart like a river after drought, peace that settles over the soul like a warm, gentle embrace, undeniably great, never ending, never wavering and does not disappoint; even greater it is the glorious news of God's Love demonstrated; God's Will and Purpose to redeem and restore; God's Desire to save the lost; God's Sacrifice & Humility-  Jesus emptied Himself & enduring OUR punishment though He Himself was innocent; God's Grace & Mercy which is sufficient; God's Justice, Sovereignty & Truth— not cold or distant, but a blazing, holy justice that refuses to ignore evil, yet finds its perfect fulfillment in Christ, where righteousness and mercy meet; God's Goodness & Compassion that brings freedom from sin, peace with God, a free gift that we are given through Christ though not desiring of; transforming & healing power making us holy, righteous, loving and perfect as Christ is; the guidance, strength and work of the Holy Spirit, and the reward, inheritance of His kingdom: to be with Christ in a new earth & heaven, free from sin, pure, eternally with God. This Gospel is the Life, Death, Resurrection & Ascension of Jesus Christ our Lord.
